About Us
PBKA is a branch of the Devon Beekeepers’ Association, we are a welcoming group of likeminded beekeepers with a passion for all things bees and apiculture based in Plymouth, Devon.
We have over 100 years of experience in our current membership with members ranging from beginner beekeepers in their first season through to those with many colonies and years under their belt.
PBKA are a highly active club with regular meetings at our branch apiary for the practical elements of our range of courses. We also undertake trips, events, lectures, and social events. See our events for more details.

Our Mission
PBKA’s Mission is To Be The Home Of Hobby Beekeeping In Plymouth.
We exist to promote the craft of responsible apiculture and to raise awareness of the honeybee and its contribution to the ecology of Plymouth.
